Son Two waited until his thirties to indulge in every extreme sport that a parent can only wonder at and (if a person with religious faith) pray doesn't exact it's toll.GBhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10289400344300258872noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3132582821010486689.post-88702914076113211392012-11-05T22:21:59.664+00:002012-11-05T22:21:59.664+00:00Thanks, Virginia! Thanks, Virginia!Frances Garroodhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10614916006798375706noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3132582821010486689.post-24175602855170702852012-11-05T19:51:04.338+00:002012-11-05T19:51:04.338+00:00Sweet memories being passed down to the younger ge...Sweet memories being passed down to the younger generation....totally priceless.VirginiaChttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17282569773671179047noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3132582821010486689.post-2089441645487635682012-11-04T19:00:00.151+00:002012-11-04T19:00:00.151+00:00Susan, I think I agree about the old secrets! I mean, really, have THAT many years gone by? I had to laugh at your comment about recently learning about some of the things your sons did when they were kids. I can relate. And I'm really glad my kids were brought up mainly before all this gadgetry (although I've recently found out that two of my sons made a hole in a parking lot with a home made bomb, and another shot his brother in the head with a gat gun!). Sometimes 'going back' is not a good idea as things so often change. I remember some great big stepping stones in Encliffe Park in Sheffield and when I visited a few years ago, I couldn't believe they were still there.Maggie Mayhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15938216505505274248noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3132582821010486689.post-14618538774857286742012-11-03T08:44:57.807+00:002012-11-03T08:44:57.807+00:00Wonderful memories - and a gorgeous fun picture of...Wonderful memories - and a gorgeous fun picture of new memories being made! xTeresa Ashbyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15350697922935549188noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3132582821010486689.post-53495555381682286072012-11-02T23:04:15.757+00:002012-11-02T23:04:15.757+00:00Trees and tree stumps, stairs and steps were all g...Trees and tree stumps, stairs and steps were all great places for adventures when I was young. I'm glad your children had the same kind of opportunity, and now your daughter is passing it on. It isn't necessary for 21st century children to spend all their time playing with 21st century toys, is it? My youngest brother's children are 11 and 9, and have been raised on outdoor fun with very little TV and no computer games. They are bright, happy, intelligent, resourceful, artistic children.<br />KKay L.
