The jump was fallen trees and brambles on a disused walker's path. The concussion wasn't too bad but I was on my own so came round to him nuzzling my face with his whiskers (sorry, Mum - are you OK?) but I gave up jumping, apart from in a ring, at that point - my rider's hat was split from front to back and my parents would have been horrified. I never told them :-) Would love to get on a horse again, but I'm too old to bounce well :-)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3132582821010486689.post-78486725879951766962012-07-27T17:56:40.066+01:002012-07-27T17:56:40.066+01:00Thanks, Maggie. Firstly don't ride horses or bikes although the latter are less prone to being spooked by wheelchairs. Secondly if you do insist on pursuing that rather crazy pastime on Titch then give in and buy him that mobile! At least he'll have no excuse for running away - unless, of course, you go riding where there's no signal.Graham Edwardshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11196744947133121475noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3132582821010486689.post-63754767161737977952012-07-26T23:03:00.088+01:002012-07-26T23:03:00.088+01:00Well at least you haven't lost your sense of h...Well at least you haven't lost your sense of humour!Graham Edwardshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11196744947133121475noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3132582821010486689.post-49429986103387730722012-07-26T18:52:11.928+01:002012-07-26T18:52:11.928+01:00Hi, Kay. Was he the one who called for the ambulance, or did his arrival home alone alert a human to dial for him?
No need for photos of your bruise. It is, after all, YOU who has the impressive bruise and the pain, and you who is missing out on the wedding.
Although I have already bought your book, I don't need to see your bruise to imagine how painful it must be.
