John sends me a card every year, through the post, with (what he thinks is ) heavily disguised handwriting that is instantly recognisable. Sometimes I send him one. But that's it. I couldn't make a heart-shaped pie (or anything else, come to that) to save my life.

But as for Nevets and his boxed macaroni cheeses - I don't know whether to laugh or cry (no offence, Nevets)!Frances Garroodhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10614916006798375706noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3132582821010486689.post-57157789710515371292011-02-11T11:27:03.144+00:002011-02-11T11:27:03.144+00:00How lovely about the snowdrops. :)

Ah - poor little romantic fool that I was.
We're not really romantic these days but we do still give each other cards: normally jokey ones!Sheila Nortonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13997206301877289623noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3132582821010486689.post-77413603315448494182011-02-10T22:25:24.213+00:002011-02-10T22:25:24.213+00:00Snowdrops on moss in a tiny tin... how romantic! We certainly don'tt eat heart-shapped anything or rhubarb.

Our primary tradition is that my wife, who can bake but not cook meals, takes over the cooking for that night and makes boxed macaroni and cheese. It's silly on the surface, but it's a tradition with sentimental roots, so we like it.C. N. Nevetshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00375714948653196993noreply@blogger.com
