Great picture, Frances. Yes, yes, that was me... Sorry, I'll go without a shared cuppa and get back to my other computer... The one that has my book on it. Bye for now.
By the way, the word vertification was 'Billy Go' were you trying to tell me something?
Just remember not to doubt the man's face in the clouds and you'll be fine...
Hang in there, Frances!
And here's another kitchen gadget that promises ease and comfort but seems more complicated than the proper thing and also to miss at least half the point:
Thanks very much, everyone. Yes, the week's got a bit better, largely due to fleeting 24-hour visit from toddler step grandchildren twin girls, and their parents (that was a mouthful!). There's nothing quite so diverting as steering small children away from stairs, hot cookers, the consumption of pebbles etc etc (apart, presumably, from being chased up a tree by a dog).
Thank you for a lovely time. Great food (as always), thoroughly good chinwag and happy liitle ones. We all really enjoyed it and look forward to descending on you again very soon! X
I live with my husband in Devizes in Wiltshire where I spend my time writing, reading, riding (I am the lucky owner of a beautiful horse, Blue), and keeping up with my four children and an increasing number of small grandchildren (eight so far). I was for many years a nurse and a Relate counsellor. I have taught creative writing both at a local college and a prison, and I review a wide variety of items - including books - for the Amazon Vine programme.I write to death row prisoners in America, being a life-long opponent jof the death penalty. And I spend too much time blogging..

This can't help but bring a smile, regardless of how bad the week has been! Hope next week is better.
ReplyDeleteMade me laugh.

Hi Frances, I can relate to having a bad week. Let's hope next week is better than this one - for both of us!
ReplyDeleteSorry you've had a bad week. I think we have trouble, but we don't have floods or forest fires or hurricanes or meltdowns or tornadoes and on and on.
ReplyDeleteThe picture is great!
