Magpie 205

There was a young lady called Rose,
Who played Chopin etudes with her toes.
When they asked, "why your feet?"
She replied, "you can't beat
Them, when all of your fingers are froze."

(With thanks to Tess at Magpie Tales for the photo)

  6. I think my Mum would have told me off if I'd tried that on our piano. But then I never had such pretty feet. And I couldn't play Chopin. But apart from that..... Now you'll tell me off for starting sentences with conjunctions.

    1. That's the kind of rule you can break once you've learnt it, GB. I do it all the time....

  7. I suppose it would be better exercise than sitting and playing with her hands.

  9. The grammarian in me had to come up with another offering (but it's too much like yours to submit it at Magpie Tales):

    A pianist, Heidi has chosen
    To make music in lederhosen.
When the cold North wind wind blows
She plays Bach with her toes
Because all of her fingers are frozen.
