Magpie 206

While waiting for Matthew in bed,
Katie sometimes gets bored. So instead,
With pursed lips, like this,
(As though blowing a kiss)
She  can blow her hat right off her head.

(With thanks to Tess at Magpie Tales for the picture)

  1. Were she waiting for me.
I'd already be there like a flee,
( bed bug I meant but it doesn't scan or rhyme)
In my dreams she'd be itching.
    Not kissing,

I suspect my limericks are not very good but one has to keep on being trying.

    Sorry for being silly.

    1. It's not difficult, GB, but then they're hardly great literature. You should have a go. Adrian has (see above).

    2. Adrian is much more foolhardy (sorry I meant brave) than I am and obviously more talented. Hmmm.

    1. Very badly, Tess. And thanks so much for the link (without your help, I'd have to abandon Magpies, and might actually do something useful on Sunday afternoons).
