Mine is the one on the right, with the seriously bad hair (he says he likes it that way, and leave it alone; so I shall). .

I live with my husband in Devizes in Wiltshire where I spend my time writing, reading, riding (I am the lucky owner of a beautiful horse, Blue), and keeping up with my four children and an increasing number of small grandchildren (eight so far). The grey belongs to my friend Louise. There are several of us who hack together in twos, threes or fours. It's all very pleasant and companionable.

ReplyDeleteYes, we are very lucky, and we never take it for granted. The scenery around here is stunning, and we can ride for miles without touching a road (accept to cross it).

DeleteHmm I missed that in amongst all my painting and decorating. It made me realise that it's over 40 years since I was on the back of a horse.
