Proud mum

My lovely daughter (who was originally a nurse and is the busy mum of triplets) is presenting (again) on the QVC shopping channel at 8pm tonight. And while she says "oh, Mum! It's not  a big deal!", I think it is, because never in a million years could I imagine being able to sell shoes on TV. So do have a look at her if you can, because not only is she a wonderful daughter, but she is kind and funny and....well, she's mine!

PS you might even want to buy the shoes...?

  1. Oh, Frances, you must be very proud of her, not just for being on QVC, of course, but for being a busy mom of triplets.
I was 21 when my youngest brother was born, and there was a young woman in the hospital room with Mother. She had an 18-month-old at home and was expecting triplets. Every time Robbie had a birthday, I thought of her and her four youngsters!
By the way, I never had any desire to sell anything but, if I had, it would have been shoes! I loved them.

    1. Thanks, Kay! One of the many great things about having kids is seeing them do things I couldn't manage in a million years. Fascinating!

I have three children but can't imagine what it would have been like to have had them all at once . She must have inexhaustible energy ...

    1. I think she was totally worn out for about ten years (they're now eleven)!

  3. You must feel very, very proud, and justifiably so. Your daughter sounds lovely and I shall try to catch her on QVC. I'll have to ask one of my daughters to find the channel as I don't know one end of a remote control from the other.

Having triplets must be amazing and she sounds like an amazing Mum. x

    1. Actually, she was great. I didn't mean to watch the whole hour, but in the end, we did!

  4. My Mum loves watching QVC while she does her ironing or other householdy stuff, but of course what we get over here is the German verion, so we won't see your daughter. My sister and I often say our Mum could be one of the presenters, too :-)

  5. Aw, I'm sorry I missed that, Frances - and I've never watched the shopping channel before! What a clever daughter to achieve so much with triplets.
