Is sex loud?

A random question from my granddaughter when I was looking after her and her co-triplets at the weekend.

Just a thought for a damp Monday.

    1. I think it was something to the effect that sex can be as loud as you want to make it!

  2. It is when I get the chance. I woke a block of flats this weekend. I've never been quiet but less so when I'm happy.....Why does your granddaughter ask? Just tell them making babies is a noisy messy job and men aren't to be trusted they go to sleep after. The lady will have troubled sleep for at least two years. Twenty years if the result is a son. She will be back where she started. I don't know why you do it. Triplets are rare. Unless you pay megga bucks to the wrong person.

    1. Your waking the block of flats reminded me of a lovely young couple I was counselling (for Relate). I suggested they share a bath. Theyhad such a good time, they woke up all the nighbours.

  4. If I remember correctly, it certainly could be, when I was younger, although variable, depending on who else was in the house.
What did you tell the triplets? Inquiring minds want to know.

    1. Answer above! We learnt to be very quiet in the early days of our marriage; paper-thin walls and squeaky bed.

  8. So you didn't send her round to the neighbours for their opinion?

  9. Out of the mouths of babes .... I remember asking a male relative of mine, 'What's rape?' when I was about 11. He giggled and told me to go and find a dictionary. I found out it was a bright yellow crop and didn't understand for ages.
