(And if anyone wonders why I carry on buying their stuff, on this occasion the are the only people who have the right shoes for a wedding. I haven't bought posh shoes for 16 years, and I was desperate.)

How I wish I could buy shoes online. I know they wouldn't fit. With a size 8 wide fit I have to try them on first. Message to self - I have posted this comment.
ReplyDeleteI take size 8s too, Maggie. Always tricky (except in wellies).
DeleteI got a new pair of wellies last year and a new pair of Meindl trainers this year. Either cost more than wedding shoes but no-one did a little dance for me.
ReplyDeleteLet's have a picture of the shoes.
ps. I find Padders very good for shoes I'm only going to wear once. Dirt cheap they are.
DeleteAdrian, you have no idea how much my wedding shoes cost, and I'm not telling you. (But they were in the sale.)
DeleteHope they fitted, Frances - and that you were able to join in their little dance of joy... (unbelievable that they put that!)
ReplyDeleteNo dance of joy, Rosemary, but the shoes are lovvely. A little on the large side, but I can't be bothered to send them back.
