Have you got a special drawer like this?


I have. Several. In fact, nearly all my drawers are like this. And I'm not even a man.

    I remember writing a blog post about this a couple of years ago and everyone said what they had in their 'Man Drawer'. It's a brilliant sketch.

    My man has a box of wires. I made him minimalize the wire collection when we moved but it has mysteriously grown again:-)

      I think all ours are like this, Rosemary. I blame the drawers. Just too easy to bung things in and then forget about them.

    Oh dear, yes, we have several, but unlike Michael McIntyre, when my man wants to find something in the man drawer, guess what, he can't!

    I also have a lot of drawers, cupboards and under bed boxes like this…..NY resolution is to sort them out!
    PS…every time I post a comment on your blog, it disappears after about 3 seconds of finishing typing…this is the 2nd draft! I love that MacIntyre routine…so true.

    Apart from the dead batteries which go into a recycling bag (I would't be able to get into the house never mind a drawer if I kept all my old batteries) I am ashamed to say that after a summer and autumn of clearing out 'stuff' I still have enough man drawers and man boxes in the loft to cause a container ship to list (I'm fed up with sinking battleships).
