Aliya has a springador (labrador cross springer spaniel). Lots of people have labradoodles (we once made some by mistake. Rather beautiful). All of which got me thinking. Springadoodle, terradoodle, labrawawa, beaglador, lurchation, puppit (pug/whippet)... Someone must have a lot of fun making up all these names. Any more suggestions?
Oh dear. I obviously haven't got enough to doodle...

Cockapoo is a weird one, as is Shepradoodle. I've known both of those.

ReplyDeleteOh, and my wife's aunts raise huskimoes, which are huskeis + American eskimo dogs.

ReplyDeleteA lhasa apso is a small dog, originally a Tibetan monestary dog. We have them in the US, but it's possible they haven't caught on much in the UK.
