Pooh, Piglet, Tigger...which are you?

I have long thought that most of us are (more or less) made in the mould of an A.A.Milne character. Discussing this with my sister, I decided that my children are as follows: one Kanga, one Christopher Robin and, sadly, two Eeyores. I've not yet decided what I am; possibly a bit of Eeyore, with a touch of Rabbit and Kanga thrown in. I'm married to a Tigger/Owl.

Which of them is most like you?

(I'm writing this while waiting for Tigger/Owl to get off the phone...)

  1. Coincidentally I have just mentioned Winnie The Pooh in my last post. I was also drawn into reading extracts from the book this evening.

As for which character I resemble I'll leave that for other's to judge. I certainly wouldn't want to be described as a naïve and slow-witted anthropomorphic toy bear despite his other qualities. In fact I'm not keen on being any character apart from, perhaps, Christopher Robin or Owl.

    1. Pooh is not as slow-witted as he makes himself out to be, GB. I can think of some other qulities you share with my favourite Bear too... Like being a Good Friend to all your friends!

    2. You can be C. Robin/Owl, GB. Why not?

  2. I felt like Christopher Robin when I was young, with younger siblings who often needed things explained to them, but now I'm sure I'm a slow-witted bear, round and cuddly and anxiously adventurous.

  3. I'm Rabbit and Kanga combined with a touch of Tigger. And my husband is pretty much all Owl with a hint of Eeyore. My three girls are all Christopher Robins, although one of them has quite a bit of Eeyore.x

  4. I would like to point you in the direction of a post on this site wassupdoc.wordpress.com, Frances. It's called Mental Disorders Demonstrated by Winnie the Pooh Characters. According to this, I am definitely Piglet: Panophobia (fear of everything!)

    1. I'll look it up, Wendy. My sister says she's a Piglet, too, as she needs to be told what to do. Which, sadly, brings out my Rabbit...

  5. I think I probably have a little bit of several of the characters in me, but some people would probably consider me an Owl. That is, they expect me to be able to read and write and give advice on difficult matters like Spelling. (Whether I'm able to live up to their expectations is quite another matter - just like it is with Owl...)

    1. Oh, not you too, Jenny? We'll have to meet up for a thistle or two some time.

  7. I've always thought of myself as Piglet with a touch of Eeyore, because I am enthusiastic with melancholic tendencies. I wouldn't call myself panophobic though, I'd better check that website.
