As you probably know, Rabbi Lionel Blue died yesterday. I loved this gentle, humble, funny man as he did his many "thoughts for the day" on BBC Radio 4. Do watch this clip if you have the time.
In the meantime, a very happy, peaceful Christmas to everyone reading this.
I hope you have a lovely Christmas, Frances.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Patsy. You too.
DeleteI hope your Christmas is happy and peaceful too, Frances.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Teresa. I wish the same for you.
DeleteI used to listen to Rabbi Blue years ago when Terry Wogan did the morning programme. A lovely man...Lionel and Terry.
ReplyDeleteHope you have a lovely (and Merry) Christmas. X
I'm glad you liked him too, Frances. Have a lovely Christmas.

ReplyDeleteThanks, Maggie. And the same good wishes to you and your family.
DeleteMerry Christmas, Frances.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Keith. A merry Christmas to you, too.
ReplyDeleteIt's many years since I listened to Radio 4 and the morning slot he regularly occupied. I recorded his own obituary and I shall listen to t in due course. I admired him very much.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you liked him too, Graham. I've tried to find his books, but most seem to be out of print.
DeleteSo did I. He was so humane.
DeleteI liked him too. He was great.
