A bargain for your Kindle!

Times are hard, competition is fierce, so I am delighted that I have finally persuaded my publisher to reduce the Kindle price of my two novels, Dead Ernest and The Birds, the Bees and Other Secrets.

At £2.50 each they're a bargain....aren't they? That's less than a pint of beer in our local pub, and guaranteed to last longer! And if you don't enjoy them I promise to buy you that pint next time you're in Wiltshire (okay. Orange juice, then, if you're driving).

  3. Your advert comes just at the right time, Frances :-) My mum gave me my Kindle early (my birthday is only next week) in order that I can try and test it and she could still send it back if anything was wrong with it (there isn't), so I am adding your two novels to the wish list I have created on my Amazon account.

  5. The paperback of Dead Ernest is the next on my bedside book-pile. I loved The Birds, the Bees and Other Secrets so much.
Like Joanne, I'm anxious to know when to expect the next one.
I haven't tried Kindle yet, although my husband loves his. I am too addicted to papery things.

  7. Just having had a look at the first line of Dead Ernest I didn't need to go any further before taking the decision to download. What a cracking opening line!

  8. Exactly, Jenny!

    Thanks, Kay.

I do hope you enjoy them, Librarian. And your birthday, of course!

Joanne, should be fairly soon as an e- book. Will keep you posted.

I hope you enjoy it, Joanna.

    Thanks, Rosemary!

GB that opening has a glaring misprint which managed to get past all the editors. I haven't checked to see whether they put it right in the Kindle edition. I'll have to download it and see! But I do hope you enjoy the book.

  10. Hi, GOK! I'm afraid I can't answer your question as Macmillan published my books and did the e-books too, but I gather it's not too difficult. Good luck with it.
