Magpie 110

I want to choose my best side
As I'm going out tonight.
If I sit on his left side
He'll be looking at my right.
But if I settle opposite
(And if the lights are dim)
I can sit back and enjoy my meal
And leave the choice to him.

(With thanks to Tess at Magie Tales for the photo)

  1. Frances,
How do you do this? Always get these just right? I starting writing something so dumb I gave up. It's very important to show our best side:)

  2. Yvonne, you are kind. The answer to your questions is (usually) very quickly. I had just got the use of my blog back, and was feeling excited!

But I can't write proper poetry; deep feelings, beautiful descriptions, that kind of thing. I think I'm really rather superficial :o(

  10. Oh this is a clever take on the prompt. Should she be going out at all though?
