My 2019....I hope...

I’m not making any resolutions this year: I’m just going to try to stick to this very wise mantra I read recently: “you are what you do today, not what you say you’ll do tomorrow”.

So to all procrastinating writers - and everyone else who reads this blog -  have a very happy and productive new year. Cheers 🥂

(The photo is of my wonderful family on Boxing Day. It’s the first time ever that we’ve all been in a photo together, with no-one missing 😀)

  1. Doing stuff today, rather than taking about doing stuff tomorrow sounds very sensible. I'll give that a go.

Happy New Year and I hope 2019 brings you lots of joyful moments.

  2. A lovely photo...one to treasure ! Our family party on Boxing Day had about the same number of people, but photos of the whole group are never taken.
Happy New Year to you and the family from one Frances to another ! x

    1. Thank you, Frances. Being all together it seemed too good an opportunity to miss. Herding everyone together was something else....

  3. We had a "whole family" (14 in all) photo taken on Christmas Day 2017, but no one thought to do it this time around.

Great looking bunch you have there.

A very happy, healthy, prosperous, peaceful 2019 to you and yours.

  5. I don't think I actually took any family photos on Christmas Day, not did anyone else. A missed opportunity if ever there was one. Your family looks very happy and that's a really good picture for everyone to treasure.

    1. Graham, we’ve missed so many opportunities in the past, I was determined to do it this time. The photographer (on the left) was only too delighted to try out his new camera!
