Brightening up a frustrating morning...

...of  missed trains, cars not starting and other delights, I found these strange road signs oddly heartening. Also, they provide an antidote to my (revolting) last post.

  1. What fantastic road signs, Frances. Is the bottom one is situated outside your house?

  2. Any even remotely funny sign is instantly removed in Germany, I'm afraid. I hope these get to stay!

  4. That's what's so great about the British sense of humour.

    1. Not sure the crocodile was British, though...?

    1. I think they're real. I like to think so, anyway.

  6. I know that this wasn't the intention of your post but it actually made me think (quite an achievement I have to admit). There was a time when it would have taken a lot more than a few funny road signs to restore my equanimity after missing a train or the car not starting (if either made me late for something). I realised that now I'd just shrug and take it from there. I really am mellowing with age - but hopefully not smelling like a mellowing cheese. I did enjoy the 'road signs' though.

    1. I don't think I'm that mellow yet, GB, and it wasn't I who missed the train. Long story. But it did affect me, and the non starting car was certainly mine.
