A poem I wish I'd written....


I find the poem Forgetfulness deeply reassuring. Funny, and oh, how true! It's four minutes into this clip.

    The more I am exposed to Billy Collins (metaphorically speaking, of course), the more I appreciate him. I knew "Forgetfulness" already, but the other two, "January in Paris" and "Ballistics", were new to me. Thank you, Frances, for expanding my ever-shrinking world.
