BOGROT

Yes. Bogrot. We have far, far too many books, the old bookcase we gave a home to a few months ago is already full, and we have to do something. So I've decided that Bogrot is the answer. Buy One Get Rid Of Two.

I'll let you know whether it works (but I'm not holding my breath).

  1. No, Sorry, I don't believe you for one minute! It won't work, you'll sneak one or two in telling yourself you haven't the time to hunt around for the two you've got to get rid of now you've brought them in.
Anyway, you can't get rid of any you haven't read because that would be a waste of good money... etc, etc. I know because I've been there.

  3. Best thing is to find a charity you really believe in, take all the books out of the bookshelf and give the ones you don't want to put back, to the charity. It works for me, in fact it is the only thing that works for me!

  4. Jarmar, I have a horrible feeling you may be right!

Valance, is that an offer? After your appalling behaviour on the porch, I think you owe me.

Jenny, I'll give it a try. The problem is that things are now badly out of control!

  5. Maybe it works better if you start on a more modest scale, such as buy one and get rid of one, before you tackle the getting rid of TWO :-)

  6. Good idea, Librarian, but it's chooing the one (or two)...

  7. Well, if I could, I most surely would. My appalling behaviour seems to come natural, but it ain't with any malicious intent.

  8. Valance,

Come on home Cowboy...you aren't appreciated here! Miss France Pants doesn't understand a cowboy's way of life...
I got some nice steak and fried oninos for you, but only after we return from the barn! ;-) We've got some hay to pitch first!

    LOL
    Miss Houston

    Oh, hello Miss Frances.

  9. Mi Houston, you get right back to your own place, and leave Mr. V alone. If he wants to visit me, that ain't none of your business.

Oh, and Mr. V - what ARE you talking about?
